NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–April 2, 2003–Followap Inc., a leading provider of advanced end-to-end Presence and Mobile Instant Messaging solutions for mobile operators, announced today the general availability of iFollow version 2.2, which is fully compliant with the Wireless Village standards. iFollow v2.2 was successfully certified for Presence, Instant Messaging and Groups during the OMA interoperability IMPS (Instant Messaging and Presence) event, held in Montreal, Canada during March 25-27, 2003.
iFollow v2.2 is being rolled out to Followap customers starting April 2003, achieving the largest Wireless-Village (OMA IMPS) footprint in the industry. Followap is closely cooperating with leading handset manufacturers to ensure seamless interoperability of Wireless-Village enabled devices with iFollow v2.2.
